Additional Information

Irving Berlin was called "the greatest songwriter that has ever lived" by none other than George Gershwin, and composed some of the most influential and widelyknown songs ever written, over his 101-year life.

“American Showstoppers: Irving Berlin,” with the Fred Barton Orchestra and a team of expert Broadway performers, feature the high points of Berlin’s Broadway and Hollywood career, from his first hit (“Alexander’s Ragtime Band,” played on the Titanic) through his biggest and best Broadway and Hollywood productions.

“There’s No Business Like Show Business,” Berlin wrote, and this concert will prove the point. The Fred Barton Orchestra and the “American Showstoppers” concerts are dedicated to the classic showstopping songs of Broadway and Hollywood’s Golden age, and to today’s performers who know how to stop shows with them.
