Their self-titled album is the latest recording venture by Sony/BMG and Jonathan Shalit. With the first album was released and went gold no more than a month late. TEATRO has become one of the fastest selling theatre groups of all time. The album has since been released in several countries around the world. By mid 2008 it had gone Number 1 in the Classical charts, and hit number 6 on the POP charts in South Africa. Then by the end of last year it was on its way to Platinum status in Belgium. With his fellow members of TEATRO Jeremiah had the amazing pleasure to perform in concerts both in England and such countries Egypt, UAE, Italy, Belgium, and Romania. They also had the amazing honor to perform on a variety of different television and radio shows all across the UK. Some of his favorites included performing on the Alan Titchmarsh Show 2 different times, This Morning on ITV , The BBC New Years Eve countdown, GMTV this morning along with many others. TEATRO had the unbelievable honor of performing for, and personally meeting, Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.
Michael Cotton
Michaels striking blonde hair ,blue eyes, and vocal talent have made him a standout in London since his West End debut in Martin Guerre. He has since gone on to a many other West End his favorites including My Fair Lady, Hey Mr Producer, Cats as well as many others He has had a passion for theatre from a young age, and is thrilled to be bringing musical theater back to the main stream in the States of America.
SIMON BAILEY
One of the most sought after leading men on the WEST END for the past 6 years. Most recently finished the roulade of Raul in Phantom of the Opera Simon created the role of Thompson in Once Upon a Time at the Adelphi, a high spot of Liverpool’s year as the European Capital of Culture (world premiere) Ringo Starr Rock Legends World Tour (Johannesburg, Durban, Bloemfontein and Cape Town, South Africa). Enjolras in the 21st anniversary cast of Les Misérables (Queen's) Britney in We Will Rock You (Dominion), Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (New London) Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet - The Musical (Piccadilly). Simon created the role of Jamie Kane in the online murder/mystery game commissioned and produced by the BBC (www.jamiekane.co.uk). Simon is thrilled and honored to be one of the original member of TEATRO.
JEREMIAH JAMES
Jeremiah did much of his growing up in Los Angeles, California. It was here he first found his interest in music and theatre arts. Jeremiah has been performing nationally and internationally for the past ten years and has over 50 professional theatre credits to his name. One of the youngest performers ever to be nominated for a Los Angeles Theater Ovation Award for Best Lead Actor in a Musical for his role as Bobby Child in Crazy for You. It was a role he then repeated in several other productions. Later that same year, he earned critical acclaim for playing the role of George Gibb in the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum production of Our Town. Most recently, Jeremiah was asked to play Billy Bigelow (arguably one of the best roles in musical theatre) in the New West End revival of Carousel at the Savoy Theatre in London. Some recent roles include The Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Doctor Shocker in The Gay Bride of Frankenstein (cast recording) Alvaro Mangiacavallo in The Rose Tattoo. Jeremiah also spent much of his time in Los Angeles working on films, television, commercials, and voiceovers for which he did several different spots for such companies as McDonalds, Kia, Visa, Coca Cola, Sega, and many others. During that same time, he also had many small spots on daytime soaps such as “Port Charles” and “General Hospital”. He also landed a supporting role in the independent film May Day starring Geoffery Lewis. Jeremiah earned critical acclaim around the greater United States for his role as Curly in the Broadway/London’s 1st National Tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s revival of Oklahoma! Jeremiah was excited, and honored when he was asked to be a part Theatrelands first supergroup TEATRO.
FOREST VANDYKE
With his power house, dynamic, and soulful voice Forest Vandyke’s career began as a member, and soloist for The American Boychoir for two years where he toured Germany debuting a new operetta, and record. This was later followed by a performance at Carnegie Hall. Most recently, he completed the workshop and First National Tour of the new musical Click Clack Moo (Director John Rando). Some of his other favorite roles include Porgy and Bess (Mingo), HIgh School Musical (Ripper), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter) Pericles, Julius Ceasar, and The Comedy of Errors at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival The Rocky Horror Show (Eddie). As well as many others. Forest beyond excited and feels extremely blessed to be a part of the wonderful group of guys that is TEATRO!
