LADIES, COMPOSE YOURSELVES!
"Ladies, Compose Yourselves!" is a tribute to living female songwriters and includes songs by ladies, women and a couple of broads.
"It's time we honored the women composers who are still creating while they're alive to appreciate it," said McNight. Composers include Amanda McBroom, Michelle Brourman, Susan Werner, Beckie Menzie, Judy Henske, Nan O'Bryne, Holly Near,
Fran Landesman, and England's Dillie Kean.
The show received the NIGHTLIFE AWARD from New York critics for BEST MUSICAL COMEDY which was presented to McNight at Town Hall, NYC in
January 2004.
