
Richard Glazier has a BA and MA from the Indiana University School of Music and a doctorate (DMA) from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he was recently awarded the Alumni Achievement Award. Trained in the classics, Glazier won several international piano competitions and made formal classical debuts in New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Rome.
Considered one of America’s foremost authorities on the American Popular Song, Glazier is a proven performer who’s played in 45 out of the 50 states, and delighted audiences in every one of them with his brilliant piano performances and fascinating stories. More than recitalist, Glazier brings the music, and the era it was written in, to life.
